Lighting System

Lighting in the area of the aquarium is very varied. Some hobbyist / professional use VHO (Very High Output) fluorescent tubes, compact fluorescent lamps, and lamp Metal Hilide because it provides more light than the average bright neon lights and come in a variety of spectrum. For the reef aquarium maintenance required light range of the spectrum. Because many corals require blue actinic light, the light spectrum needed for breeding, many hobbyist gives additional white light with bright colors. And for the moment type of lamp T5 High Output fluorescent lamp is popularly used for the maintenance of coral. These lamps are thinner than usual and T8 lamps provide light far brighter and stronger. Other light sources in the reef aquarium today is Hilide Metal lamp. This high-powered lights create a glittering effect such a bright tropical sun. Light bulbs come in a variety of Metal Hilide spectrum from 5000-20.000K and allows for various types of coral reefs that live either above or dasra aquarium waters.
